Hitting Behind Your Chips

March 14, 2016

To hit behind your chips and therefore have more control over your ball flight, remember the following six steps:

  1. Move the ball further back in your stance;

  2. Keep your weight on the front foot;

  3. Move your head directly over the ball;

  4. Don’t break your wrist too early in the swing;

  5. Keep from swinging around your body;

  6. Stand a little further away from the ball at the address.

Hope these tips get your chipping back on line!

Great golfing!  See you next month!

Richard
