We’ve all seen them – and we all dread them…if you ever get the shanks, follow these simple steps to try to end them very quickly!
Make sure that you are not swinging too flat on your backswing;
Get your weight off of your toes and back towards your heels when you address the ball;
Clear your front hip as you start your downswing – don’t slide.
Make the left arm swing back and through the shot like a pendulum.
Practice with a ball just outside the ball you are hitting. When hitting, make sure that you avoid hitting the outside ball. This should correct your swing and follow through.
Great golfing! See you next month!
