Richard Mercer’s philosophy is that golf should be taught and learned in the simplest, most advantageous way possible. His excellent communication skills as an instructor have aided in the successes of his lessons and his students. “I always try as a coach to fix the source of problems rather than merely identifying the problem." Currently, Richard Mercer provides Individual Golf Instruction, Corporate Golf Programs, and Golf Schools for men, women, and juniors of all levels at The Vintage Golf Club. Richard Mercer has also been involved with golf course design and event planning, such as annual trips to the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
